Having a wedding in Lowell, Massachusetts

Are you thinking of having your wedding in Lowell, MA? Many Massachusetts residents and visitors have chosen this fine city for their wedding location. This is a very large city in the Middlesex County in Massachusetts – actually the fourth largest city in the entire state. So it is no surprise that there are a lot of brides and grooms: there are a lot of people! The city is known by two nicknames: Mill City and Spindle City. The Lowell city motto is “Art is the Handmaid of Human Good.” You’ll warm quickly to this great city that is Lowell, MA.

Many people love the beauty of this fine Massachusetts town. Originally this was a manufacturing center for textiles but it has experienced great regrowth in recent years. There is much natural beauty to be found at Lowell, and this is ideal to consider when planning your wedding. There is the Lowell Dracut Tyngsboro State Forest with an urban state forest. The Merrimack River also runs through the town. The Canal Walk allows people to walk through about 5 miles of canals through the town. This is a lovely town with lots of ideal places for your photographs and for your wedding location.

Spring, summer and fall weddings are equally popular in Lowell. Spring can be a bit cool but is still a very attractive season to get married in. Summer is ideal, and is most likely the most popular season for brides to select. Fall has much beauty to offer for a wedding. The leaves are all turning colors and the weather is still mild enough for much outdoor activity. Winter weddings are still popular but typically occur indoors. Consider when planning your winter wedding that your wedding photographs will be most likely entirely indoors. All of the other seasons you can take outdoor photographs.
